  2. Great site for the 2nd half because very little responsbility is put on students for patient care, which is the exact opposite to Downstate/KCHC. I would follow a couple of patients and write daily notes, but rarely admitted patients. Instead the day consisted of following my senior resident seeing patients. Thus there is more time to study. Student have mixed reviews mostly because of afternoon sesssions with Dr. O'Grady. He is an amazing teacher, but I believe 2-3x/week he holds lectures (non-powerpoint, instead more a socratic method) 3 hours long ending at 5-6 PM. Thus the days are long, but if you learn well this way then it's worth it. If you like to study on your own at your own pace then these sessions can be burdensome.
The patient population is also very interesting because there is a greater Spanish speaking population, and Caucasians. Also many of the patients are from the middle/upper class. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this site especially the afternoon sessions with Dr. O'Grady.
